Anybody from this neck of the woods on here? I'm staying over here till Sunday with a friend. Already spotted one LUV just down the from where I'm at, it makes MEPR's truck look nice, but it seems mechanically sound. :P

I ended up hanging out and drinking beers with a guy named Jay who had the LUV down the street from where I was staying. He has it all set up for tuff truck racing so it looks like hell but it was set up pretty good. Didn't get much chance to look at the truck, but it was fun visiting with a fellow LUV owner. He doesn't do the internet thing so I doubt we'll see him here, but I did tell him about us.

I found 3 LUVs in just a two block radius of the house I stayed at. There are just a ton of LUVs all over town, and more Isuzu Troopers than I've seen in the last month. I was at one bar and parked mine between two 1st Gen Troops, across from 2nd Gen, and watched a LUV pull in to the lot as I was walking in. All this in a parking lot with about 8 spaces. I think I need to get a nice big trailer and take a trip back for parts. And with the dry climate, they are all pretty much rust free.
