I got a lot of humor from that topic. I thought the kid was pretty stupid for bragging up what he did online and if the cops were smart enough to pickup on his stupidity then good for them. What suprised me was the amount of crap talking in that topic. Lots of haters on that site.

nothing wrong with bragging about it on line but the fact that he did it on the STARBOYZ forum was the stupidest thing he could have ever done. OF COURSE the cops watch that board... they HATE the STARBOYZ for being such blatant outlaw riders, popularizing the FTP moniker... and making a shit load of money off of it. he got what he deserved. 145 with a passenger.. what a dummy.

there is a little more to the story apparently. the kid basically admitted what he did to the cop that came to check out his bike he was selling (the bike he ran from the police on)

I have mixed feelings about it, but I definitely think he was incredibly dumb for posting that. Also I'm not sure I'd want to have been on the back of the bike with him 145mph...no thanks...

funny and true story....a few months ago. I was wearing an FTP do rag under my helmet when my friend and a couple of his buddies pulled up to the bar,. well I take off my helmet and some of them were asking what FTP is. I tell them what it means and they get a funny look on their face. we go into the bar and hammer some beers where I get a chance to talk to them. turns out one is a 911 dispatcher and 20 year vet Sheriff deputy and the other 2 are active 10 year vet deputies. lol. it was uncomfortable for a little bit but by the end of the day we got along fine.

I still ride with these guys (and a retired FBI agent) but out of respect, I dont wear the do rag anymore.

they pretty much just sit there and laugh when I split cars, do burnouts and race other bikes.
