Totally understand man!!! When I was painting the frame on my truck, we caught the window frame on the side of the garage door rolling it back into the garage and shattered my side window. Needless to say, my dads garage heater has a nice dent in it that matches my fist!
Hope it heals quick for ya. 8)

At least you didn't hit the luv. I have done plenty of stupid shit like that, including breaking both hands and my left foot because I was drunk and "lost my temper". I was a jackass when I was younger.

Yeah, when my truck broke down in July I busted my palm open on the dash, lots of blood. Broke the driver side window and everything I could get my hands on went through the back wall of the garage. . .

Made for a lot of work...

I can sure relate to you guys. Sometimes, your out working on something and it just goes wrong....everything you touch and do is just a disaster. Then your temper heats up, and before you know it your Snap On's are flying into distant trees, you throw the impact hard enough you dint the side of your dads tin shop...(still sorry bout that one), or you take that big 10 pound sledge and beat the ever living crap out of the task at hand. At this point in time I label it with "FUBAR" (F*cked Up Beyond All Repair) :D and let someone else worry about it..

when i get pissed off (happened the other night as a matter of fact) i usually make the car port walls look like it hailed on or i just beat the crap out of an old car hood. either way the next mornin my fists were swolen up ( got mad , took it too far, found a chain saw , our 6 trees are no more) now dad hides it. Thats why i'm wanting to go through buds training , I heard they teach you to hide your emotions , feelings, and to not have pain. so it sounds like what i need for my temper.

Well, here's ONE of my stupid ones for you.
1 time I had just a little too much to drink (yes, TOO much), got mad at the wife, & just happened to have a sledgehammer in my hand (don't remember why), & the closest thing around (other than the wife) to take it out on, was my '84 Monte Carlo.................................................... Well, just try to explain to your buddies, why 1 side of your car looks like it was in a demolition derby.
I haven't lived that 1 down, YET!!! & that was 13 years ago.

There is nothing like some hammer/anvil time to get out some pent up hostility. That and splitting firewood got me through a lot during my younger years.
