hey I got this idea from my b/f's club.....

Business Cards!

See, they made up some business cards and all the members have them. When they see a truck that they think would want to join the club/site, but the owner isn't around, they just leave a card under the windshield wiper.

I think it's a good idea, I see LUVs everyday up here.

thats a really good idea i think a post a long time ago threw a couple ideas around like that.
ben or somone could throw a design out and everybody could copy and paste it and print it out. would be even better if you have the thick photocopy paper

well I could give it a shot tonight, I've got a business card making program that my dad uses, and even business card paper (you just punch out the cards)

Then if everyone likes it they could also print them out on business card paper or something.

Thats an awesome idea!! I hope its a go...

I did that a while back, ran through a sheet of 10 cards and haven't seen one of them show up here. I'll try to dig up the template I made up for MS Word. It was setup for the Avery card stock you can get at most any office supply store and most department stores.

thank you for the idea on the bizz cards...have taken you up on the idea and pasted one up w my pic and then included name and number, going to go have actual cards made tomm. will let you know how they come out

sorry I haven't really taken any action here, I don't have time 'cause of work.

Maybe I'll print a page or two off and keep them with me in case I see a luv.

Yesterday I saw 2 red ones, a yellow one, and a baby blue one! all on the way home from work!

Now what ive done is: I eliminated the sketch of the truck and just went w the luvtruck.com logo, then in lower left corner I have my lil pic of me here w 'Lil Blue" above it, then in middle I have my name and home phone and at bottom i put " i buy, sell and trade Luv trucks and parts" and it looks great. i cant print actual cards on this computer but am going to office depot monaday and printing up 1000 for $29.95
not only will I give them to tothers i know w luvs but when i see one somewhere ill jus put one on there and also i will be enclosing one w each parts order i ship out so that ppl will remember who i am on here as time goes on
