Ive sold a number of parts on this site and have always trusted people to be honest. I usualy will ship something with the agreement that the payment would be sent at the same time. Have never waited for payment to get to me before shipping the part. I guess it was only a matter of time. So be ware of a fellow named or claiming the name Jack Hendrick. I sent him heater parts for his sons Luv in Dec and have had two or three replies saying the money orders in the mail. A month later and still nothing. Why do people have to be that way. I just dont get it.

I guess this means were gonna have to leave "trust" out of the agreement when you make a deal.....

I apologize for your trouble. I actually assumed this would happen sooner or later, because as you say, people suck. Unfortunately we don't have anything in place to legally assist you.

Having said that, I would be glad to help out if I could. Send me his info and I'll try and contact him. No guarantees but I'll see what I can do.

Luv4me, please tell me that you got the money for the radiator I got from you!?!?! I am very big on prompt payment, I, like you guys have tried to be cool about helping people out but every once in a while you get someone who takes advantage of our good faith in other people. Just my two pennies.

ive had my fair share of being ripped off! now i have a habbit of not trusting ppl...no offence, but when buying stuff i make sure i have the payment before i send stuff, i bought something on ebay 2 months ago and am still waiting for it to arrive, i only payed $12 but still, its the principal of the thing!

husker im pretty sure I got payment from you.......I have sent a couple more things off, but don't remember who it was. im sure I could look in the private messages and see, but I don't hold grudges or anything. I just will be more careful sending stuff to people that I don't know well.
I remember sending something to someone and they didn't say thank you or kiss my butt or anything. im not real mad about it because it wasn't that much money, but when I go out of my way to do something and get no thanks or anything for it....well...that just sux.

Whew!!! ok  Yeah, I know that I did send the money to you..... now you make me wonder if I sent a kiss my butt message to you  JK Well anyway I have to say that the radiator works great! Although I still have a little bit of an overheating problem, so I figure it wont be to long before I have to do the V-8 conversion.

Yeah got the shroud on it, no kinks in the hoses, I have flushed the system thoroughly(even took out the heater core and flushed it separate)
I think what it boils down to is the inevetable dreaded cracked/warped head  Which is YET another reason why the V-8 swap might happen sooner than later! I just hope I can find all the parts I need for a cheap as I can. My main search right now is for a tranny for cheap and in good condition. The other things I know I can get from ebay or local pull a parts places for fairly cheap. Mine will be the epitome of the "beer budget swap"

Well alot of you guys have trusted me and Dennis and have sent money for logo's so dont worry they have all been sent off in the mail and you should start recieving them early next week. Thanks for the trust and we hope you enjoy your logo's as much as we do :!:

Tell me about it, I sold my brother a car over a year ago, and he still hasn't paid me for it. And it was only for $200. He's lucky I don't really want it back, or I would just go up and repo it.
I would definately rather have the money.

Thanks for the update on the logo's.

yea i got screwed over by a friend, i worked on his computer. it needed parts and i found them on ebay, since i had paypal he asked me to buy them then he'd pay me back. i fixed his computer and he never paid me. i asked him a bunch of times, even sent the receipt from paypal. but he kept putting it off. i haven't talked to him in a year. i figure a real friend would pay me back. so no need for me to be friends with him. and the part was less than $20. some people just don't care even if it means ruining a friendship.
