Was watching the tractor pulls and some mud racing this weekend. Guess what, there was a little pre-80 LUV truck in the mud race. Looked great with the huge mud tires sticking out, not to mention the top of the engine being dang near higher than to top of the truck itself.

Yea, I thought that too, you can tell it was built in the 80's by the mods (nobody does sissor or ahem "tilt  " beds anymore) and then tried to put some bigger wheels on it without doing any work to get them tucked under the fenders.

Dont worry Tilted, I know that if I was going to be keeping my baby that I would be doing a tilt bed but I am not sure whether it would be like yours or a "dump style" bed.......... It dont matter cause "Old Skool" is still pretty damn cool !!!
Well just my two pennies.

Ive seen a couple of minis in mini truckin with tilt beds built in the last couple of years. Only difference is they use bags to lift them. I live in a fairly large city and the big wheel trend is realy starting to catch on here. All these two wheel drives jacked up so they can get their 24" blings on. Looks bad to me but its all about the bling. Im going to be so out of place with my 15" steelies, but they can kiss my ass. Old school rocks. Checked out the old mini site. Very cool.

I dont understand the "My rims are bigger than yours" way of thinking. They look like old covered wagons. If you can get big wheels under your truck and is low, then I think it looks good. I have always lived by my theory of "If you can't tuck em, F--'em" :D

My opinion and only my opinion if a luv has 4cyl. in it and is slammed or something it might be a mini truck. If it has a small block or something in that manner then it is A DAMN HOT ROD :!:
