Alrighty well it started to snow and i was heading to a buddies house. I decided to leave the luv at home so that it wouldnt be all wet and nasty when i go to do some more work to it tomarow. So i hop in my brothers Focus. First off let me tell you, performance street tires BLOW GOATS FOR HOBBY in icy weather. I go to stop and i find out this car dosnt have anti-lock brakes, what a time to find out... So im trying to pump the brakes but there is NO feed back through the pedals like there is in my luv (normally i can feel the brakes the start to lock and let off before they lock in the luv). So the car slides sideways into the curb, well it stopped at least. I get home and look at the wheel, damned low profile bull shit. The tire dosnt even have a scuff mark on it but theres a nice little gouge out of the factory mags. Oh well i got it filled out decently, you iether have to feel for it and get right down and look to see the gouge. Still just pisses me off :x

Go safe, drive luv. Mine handles like a dream in the snow. I doesn't have enough power to spin the tires, so I can take off from a stop sign better than most people in 4 wheel drive. I know what you mean about the low profile wheels though. I curb rashed two of my Lightning wheels the other day. I am still fumin about it.

you think starting out with slicks is bad, try using old non-siped buckshot mudders with no studs! driving in a heavy downpour was just like driving on ice 8O

my f-150 whith 200hp and 300lbs ft on 33" TSLs goes better in the snow than the focus, its rediculous. The focus just spins but it dosnt have enough power to start in second efectivly. My luv will start in second whithout any realy effort, and my ford will start from third whith just a little bit of clutch work.

Yeah the Lightning stays in the garage any time it rains or snows now. I see so many people driving around with their heads so far up their asses, the are back on their shoulders. I was with a buddy of mine the other day after a snowstorm, and we saw asses on shoulders everywhere.

Man Grimace I am jealous  I went and drove the new Lightning at a dealership while I was home and man I have to say that I was pretty impressed with it, I mean a 5.7 supercharged under the hood was definitely very hot!! 8) I sure wish I could hit the lottery then all my vehicular woes would be over so easily.

LoL. Yeah I had to sacrifice alot to get that truck. I love pulling up next to people who have heard of them, or think they know what they are, and dragging them down the street. It has tons of potential. I have seen Lightnings in the low 10's.

yeah those lightnings are perty cool but im thinking of something diferent. Imagine this, a twin turbo fuel injected 300-6 whith nitrous. Its in the works guys, estimates will be around 400hp and abouyt 540lbs ft, all nicely wraped in a beat up 82 f-150. Talk about a sleeper eh! 8)

Go for it. Hopefully soon I can post about my fuel injected, turbo charged 2.0 liter in a 4x4 luv truck (oops, did I say that out loud?)
