 Post subject: Space Shuttle Endevor.

I stood on my roof today and watched the shuttle, piggyback on the 747, fly by my house. And then saw it make it's u turn, near my house, to get ready to land at LAX today. Pretty cool.

The crane company I work for is unloading it tonight! We have two giant cranes set up there. Sadly, I'm not part of it. I did go pick up some of the "test lift" weights and rigging on Wednesday, though, so at least I got to see the whole set up. I may be part of the tear down, I don't know.

A guy I went to grade school with, has been working at LAX on some new construction. He was there today for the landing, and even posted on FB, pics of him inside the 747! I'm jealous.

It flew right over my building in Santa Ana and did a nice bank toward Huntington Beach. It was great to see and a reminder of how great this country used to be. 8)
