Anybody have much luck with them? I am trying to decide which one might be worth trying. I feel I was played a sucker last year by CompleteTax, a product of CCH. I spent time keying in endless information thinking I could come back this year and and reuse it. Well I can if I pay $30. What happens first? Well we don't post that stuff here. So has anybody managed to use any of the free sites more than one year?

Once again, I will be putting in all the information. It will be elsewhere.

I used H&R Block a few times over the years. If you make under like $58,000 its free.

Check out http://www.irs.gov/efile/article/0,,id=118986,00.html

There's a list of free file options there. If you make more than $58K a year, you can *cough* download TurboTax from a few places from around the net.

I have taken pot luck with 2 different outfits listed by the IRS. Dissatisfied with both. I have heard some other good things about H&R, may try them this year.

I have used H&R Block for about 10 years. It usually costs about $100, but they get every cent you deserve back for you. It doesnt hurt that a good friend does the return, so she stretches the deductions a little, but well within reason. They've been around a long time and I've always been happy.
