It seems the more I read about where the US is going, the more I see us becoming the UN-United States. Social Security is pretty much in a guaranteed deficit, the government says to get the US back on track is to spend MORE money (14 trillion dollars in the hole already) and not a single one of our congressmen or senators are saying anything about cutting THIER/GOVERNMENTS benefits or pay. Damn I hate the news and the local paper keeps asking me why I don't want to subscribe. Why pay for nothing but bad news?

I only get the sunday paper. and THATS just for coupons LOL. Pisses me off. 10 pages of paper 5 of it is sports and the damn comics aint even in color anymore

Yeah pretty bleak. They taxed me good, but promised me this and that all my life. Now it is time for me to collect. Guess what? They're broke.

I try not to let things get me down, but it makes me real worried. I even listen to some of the money stuff. Not good. Not that I have anything, but a house to sell and that is not looking good. Had it for sale for almost 2 years.
