Ever had a plump dr. tell you you need to lose weight? I have, and the funny part is, she was skinny when I was fat, now she has gained at least 40 lbs. Gave me hell about my weight, and how I was going to leave my kids without a daddy since I had no self control. I went in to get some antibiotics last month, saw she was still chunky, and couldn't resist... I said "Congratulations! When are you due?" She said "I am not preggers", I said "my apologies, I thought you were going to drop any day now"

I don't like her due to her attitude, but she took over for my previous dr, who was writing his own prescriptions. My med history and such has always been with them, so I stuck it out until I was med free. I have now lost a total of 192 lbs. Went in today for blood work, I am completely free of any meds, A1c was 4.8, BP was 118/66 Good cholesterol was 49 (was taking a med to raise it up, was 14, needs to be a minimum of 34, took me off the med 6 months ago, which was the reason for today's lab). I am now free to find me another quack...

what all did you do? thats amazing. a local photographer buddy of mine started at ... damn near 500lbs if i recall. last i saw him he was down around 350. and its very very noticeable when you are that damn big.

WOW, 192 pounds. CONGRATS! I need to drop about ANOTHER 25 to get me back in the 190's. I'm struggling with that...I can't imagine what you've done. Now, I agree with Ben, keeping it off has always been my problem. Hope you do better than I do.
