Hey I just purchased a 1980 Luv the other day and am going to begin fixing this torn down bugger. Can anyone tell me where I can find the vin number......The dash is torn apart so the vin that should be on the dash on the left in the windsheild is not there. Are there any other places chevy put the vin number? Its not on the doors or the inner door on either side. :?:

Just wondering where on the luv you can find the vin number? its not in any of the normal places they should be.....any ideas? :?:

Underneath the cover piece where the windshield wipers bolt.
And on the frame near the gas tank. You will need a wet rag to find that one.
