If all of you have read Bens post about the demise of this site, youll under stand this posts title. So are we going to let this site go or not? Im willing to pay the fees to keep it going and saw a few others willing also. However, I dont think A FEW will make it happen. Weve got over 400 members. I know theres hard times all over this country right now, but theres gotta be more people that can contribute. Lets take pride in our hobby as we do in our country. And lets give the guy who gave us this site some help when he needs it. Which is now.

I wouldn't rely on a lot of the 400 members since some of them were probably "hit and run" one time posters. whatever the case is I need an address. ya got my $$$$. Do you accept cash?

I've been trying to come up with a method that doesn't end up with a few of the regular member supporting everyone else. A couple ideas are: subscriber only sections, subscriber of the month, or a subscriber package that includes maybe some cool stuff from the site on CD for our modem guys.

Thanks for all the offers of support everyone. When we come up with a plan, it will really help me out.

What do you guys think? I was also thinking of just making it a donation situation with no special benefits, but I think only our more devoted members will end up paying which isn't all that fair.

i think if you do it by donation ben you won`t see that much help on a regular bassis . i say go with the typical set up if you want to get pass the home page you have to be a member. if you want to be a member you have to pay. maybe have some payment options 1 month for 5.00 trial offer . 6 month 10.00 1 year 20.00. the other thing that could help keep people off the site that aren`t serious about it. like the ones that get in the chat room every once in awile. although you don`t see it too often. that way it does stay fair for all members.later

well if it comes down to paying to check the site out mostlikely there will only be like 20 of us because theres only like 20 of us that will pay.

well its not unheard of for tech sites to charge $25 a year.

Count me in. I would hate to see the site go away. It would be nice someday, if this site brought all of us together for a big meet somewhere. Without the site, we have lost so much shared information, and friendship, hopefully we can keep it going.

If we didnt have this site, I wouldve still been searching for a Luv. Ive sold some parts and bought some parts here. And gotten valueable info that I probably wouldnt have found elsewhere. However we can keep this site is good for me. $10,$25, I ll pay it. And it would be real cool if we could organize a national meet somewhere.

I aint been aound much lately but I will donate to the site to keep it going. How much u need and when do you need it?
