There is a factory fairly close by me that make car parts, mainly for Ford. I heard today that if Ford would quit making/selling the Escape, that the plant would shut down, as they are only making parts for the Escape.

I agree stories like this are tragic, but you really have to question the wisdom of the owner who put all of his business with one client.

I worked at an Aerospace company that closed after 9/11. Their only customer was Boeing. See what I mean?

Besides, I think Ford has the best chance of surviving out of the three.
