They stoped at a rest area west of Palm Springs and when they came out of the toilet, the eng. was on fire. 8O
Turns out a hydrolic line was leaking on the turbo. So I loaded it up on the 9 axle and hauled to our Fontana yard. Loaded, it was 16' 4" high. My permit had me taking off and on ramps to miss low overpasses about 5 times.

And then some easier and more fun days. Hauling a couple yard goat tractors to the Conoco refinery.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

No, I work for Maxim Crane Works.

I used to be an o/o leased to North American Van Lines., but this actually pays more, after 15 years at NAVL the fun had run out.

I worked at Heavy Transport for a couple years and hauled towers and blades all over the place. I was never home. Now I am home almost every night.

That's the part between the tractor and the actual trailer. It's basically a short trailer.

I had to work on several of those monsters years ago. I didn't know what the were, until I saw one. I had no idea how much room it took to turn one of these. I have seen whole sets of signs on corners tore down before... We have had those moving M1 Abrams Tanks before. Everyone who drives those monsters are fantastic in being able to to that.

I only had to drive regular 40' long trailer when working on trucks and trailers. If you need a state inspection, I had to drive it.
