I think it depends on what your doing. I have one light set I use for hot days. It has that ghillie suit look only with leaves on it.
I dont use mine much, and dont really brag about having scent-loc. It says on there that you need to run your washing machine without soap once to get the soap residue out. Then you can wash it in cold water or with some special scent soap.
But to activate it you have to run it in the dryer.

I run the washing machine once, then wash all of my hunting clothes without any soap. I just use some spray on scent stuff when I am ready to head out.
I would rather spend my money on something that will keep me and my feet warm and dry.

You can always break up some ceder branches and put them with your clothes, then your a walking tree. :ebiggrin

I have been getting into bass fishing this year; and as a buddy told me while in the store, "Some lures are ment to catch the fisherman's eyes. Other lures are ment to catch fish."

I dont think that stuff is all that its made out to be personally, probably just something that is ment to catch your eye at the store.

To much money, keep your normal clothes clean and watch the wind. I dont care how scent proof your clothes are, you are not going to be able to beat the wind.

Back when I was a deer annihilator, I killed many inside of 5 yards with my old street clothes on. This while sitting on the ground, usually with my back to a tree. As long as the wind is in the right direction and you are still, they will come...

When I get done for the season I put my camo's in a plastic tote with cedar chips. I took some mens tube socks (the light ones almost like hose) and filled them with cedar chips and then pack them with my camo's. Then I use some spray on stuff before I go out. Then I put them back in the tote when I'm done between hunts. One of the guy's I hunt with will actually take the piss sack out of the first deer killed at camp and use it on his camo's. I don't go that far.

My brother drives a 4 wheeler out to his stand, it is Texas you understand a long way to the stand and he has bad knees now. He would take a can and put some gas and oil out there so they would get used to the smell by his feeder. He never seemed to have a problem from that smell, Bow, black power, or pistol- rifle season. He does more of that stuff than I have. We start about 2 or 3 months before the season opens. Bow season starts first.

If it is public land then you have a different problem. I have used the deer sent stuff before, some people swear by it. I think they smelled you no mater what if you were up wind.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
