I got mine in Korea, after about my 3rd short tour there. I'd learned Korean well enough to get around and my closest friends were all Koreans. These guys were a little on the rough side, and each had a nickname. Tiger, Punchy, Crow, etc. Since they didn't like the wimpy nickname I had (Scarecrow, in Korean), they renamed me 'Wolf'. The correct transliteration of wolf is nuc dae.

So, it's sort of morphed into the version I use now.

Honestly, it has nothing to do with the Trinity site, future-doom, or any of that stuff...

Well my mom and dad named me. Oh you mean my forum name Well my last name begins with G, and I am a papa. My granddaughter calls me Pop or Pops . So that is close. We all called my mom's dad Pop, so I kind of like it. You can't call everyone grandpaw.

When I had kids, my mom said she was too young to be called Grandma. We all settled on Mama and Papa for them. But now that my kids are 16, 17, 19, & 21 they call my dad Grandpa. I think they feel kinda weird calling anyone Papa at that age. And my Mom has passed so they don't call her anything.

I'm not sure how it came about but we called my grandma, Grammy. In my teenage years it felt odd, especially around friends. Then as an adult, and having so much respect for her, I was proud to call her by her special name.

I got my user name by combining my two main interests. I love Luv Trucks, and have had six of them. I am also a musician and have played a lot of blues and blues based music, ie...Stevie Ray Vaughn,. and the name just fit. I submitted it to Ben, and he said somebody else already had it. I looked it up and the guy had joined for three days two years ago at that time, and never came back. After a while Ben let me have the name. I also use it as an email address.

Years ago I was working in a high volume,very trendy restaurant.
There were 5 other Kellys working there at the time,3guys,2 girls.
It got rather confusing when busy as to just which Kelly was being hollered at,so nicknames were in order(pun intended).

The place had a P.A. system from the front broiler to the back of the house and the customers could hear just about everything being said,therefore someone on staff thought it would be funny to nickname the broiler cook out front with the BIG knife "Ripper"
Shoulda seen some of the looks from customers when they heard that one.

86 is the number I've always run on my circle-burners.
