This is my first ever engine rebuild and car project. I just got a 350 block and boring it out to a 383 with Eagle rotating assembly, Vortec heads, and I still am not forsure which cam kit I will use but it will definitely be roller lifter and not flat tappet. I just started the engine and still havent got all the parts from the machine shop that I ordered it from. I am thinking about dropping it in a Luv but still am uncertain. I was wondering what you guys thought about that as a beginer project. It will be street/strip but not totally street legal and I have some proffessional help from a friend. Thanks for all your help. Ive been reading some previous posts about it and I think it will be right for me.
