i wouldnt get a blazer, unless its one of the older big blazers. my buddie has had 2 of the little blazers and they are a BITCH to work on

are you looking for a fullsize truck or midsize like a s-10?

full size id try to find a old dodge, dad had a 77 w/ the slant 6 and 3 on the tree. damn thing was like a tank. you couldnt kill it.

midsize id go for either a s-10 or maybe if you can afford it a newer nissan. both my uncle and step bro has a nissan (not sure of years but they are in the 90's) and they are great as far as i know they have never had a problem.

Its the gift that keeps on givin. get tired of the 1.8 litre, drop in a v8. way more style than an s-10 or other

why do you hate fuel injection?
if I had the money I would inject the LUV.
much more reliable and efficient.

of course you can take a carb apart and work on it without a cornputer, but you will prolly work on the carb before you would have to touch the fuel injection.

just my $0.02
:P

fuel injection is the crap. they are controlled by a computer, and for every upgrade over stock that you make, there is a computer chip, add on, or the like- to control the fuel ratio to your intake system. Ive been looking into the turbo thing.

I am not afraid!

Fuelies have some big advantages if you can figure out how to work on them. Just driving around a good computer controlled fuel injection system will self adjust to environmental conditions and such. I had retune my Weber carb just going from ~500ft elevation to ~4000ft because I lost so much power.
