I have been thinking, and i am leaning towards just stayin with the 83 s10 that i have...and makin that my 350 swap project, it is no luv...

I have been lookin around for parts and what not to do the 350 swap, and i have found motor mounts that convert my 2.8 mounts for the smallblock.

BUT i come to the good people of luvtruck, wondering if anyone has done this swap or has had experience, or knows anything at all. The "beer budget" swap that is here for the luv is great and i have been looking for something similar about the s10 but info is aplenty but nothing organized like here at luvtruck...if anyone can point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it!!

any info is welcome anything at all

thanks
anthony

you can check the jags that run (jtr) site http://www.v8s10.com They do swaps and sell parts for it. Also, there are a couple of S-10 v-8 swap forums out there such as mys10.com and s10forum.com ....

i'm looking at doing this in the future to my 93 with 2.8 and five speed. lots of conversion parts out there already.

hey ive got a set of motor mounts if you want them. i made em my self so i know they wont break. i used the dimensions from the JTR book to make them. you might have to ream some of the holes out so you can have some adjustablitly. you might also have em sandblaster too. theyve been sitin in the yard for a while. i made them out of 3/8in plate so theyre plenty strong.

also s great v8 s10 website is http://www.v8s10.org
my screen name there is farmer_joe620.

****edit**** i just read the last post

alright.

im not completely sure if they will work though. i made them a couple years back and never got to use them. some of the holes might have to be bored out or welded up and redrilled. im just giving a fair warnin.

but if you want them your welcome to em. ill get some pics of them

here some pics. you can see on the one motor mount you might have to weld it up and redrill it.
