i thought i would share this experience..........


I was adjusting my valves yesterday and noticed that my #1 cyl intake lobe on the cam was spalled pretty bad. the valve was just a hair over gapped along with the rest of the valves as usual.

i called the delta # today to see what the warranty situation was on this particular re-grind and the guy that answered the phone was probably the coolest cat i've dealt with in a while, he fired up the old invoices and found my name and told me that it was covered fo a full year as long as the damage was a bad grind or blow and that they would repair/replace any parts that were damaged by the grind(rockers and bearings), along with paying the return shipping when the works done.

neither did I ..... that's why i figured i'd share this....

the guy also said that if i want i can order a custom grind if i want....is there a grind for torque? the high rpm grind i have is totaly inefficent ...i think my machinest misundrestood me when i said i wanted a hotter cam....
