I will be re-building my engine soon and I will be spending a good chunck of change on it. Are roller lifters worth the money. My engine will be a daily driver but I want to be able to smoke any rice-burner in sight, and ocasionally take it to the track. Or are roller lifters impractial for a daily driver. I have several other parts picked out:

-comp roller rockers
-comp cam shaft (not shure which one yet)
-edelbrock high rise intake
-holley 650cfm carb

-Edelbrock valve covers
-new springs, valves and other little things.

well my .02 cents worth if you have the cash i would use them. i run one in my truck. although it is not a daily driver, most factory engines have them now so that says something right there for the durability.my motor is alot snappier with the roller in it.
