 Post subject: oil leak, help!

i have a 1985 nissan stanza with a 2.0 in it and it seems to be leaking oil from the main pulley on the engine really badly. This is a bearing seal probably? Im just curious how this is fixed and how big of a job it is. Thanx in advance!

Sounds like a main seal. If you are able to get the pully off, and pop out the old seal, then use a big socket to pound in the new seal, and you should be good. GOOD LUCK :D

probably just need a pulley puller ya? Its that simple tho? Just take the pulley off, take old seal off and pound new one in?
