Stock 76' Chev Luv differential now. Need higher gear rearend! Want to stay with 6 hole lugs. 411's in it now. Want to drop DOWN to low 3's or high 2's. I've heard Toy trucks have 6 hole lugs. That may work also. What year of truck say Dodge, Toyota...should I possibly go after.
Thanks, Richard

why don't you just get a drop out from an 81-86 Luv that has a different ratio. I have found several in wrecking yards. you just need to find one with 12 teeth on the pinion. that will give you 342's. if you find one with 11 tetth it will give you 373's.

toyota 4x4 axles are 6 lug. only thing you'd have to do is put new spring pads under the axle(they come spring over from the factory), perfect width for a luv

you can get gears in 3.90, 4.10, 4.30, 4.38, 4.56, 4.88 and 5.29
