Are parts interchangable between the 350 and the 327? Nearly all of my parts catalog I get in the mail don't specify the size of engine when ordering. It just says fits Smallblock Chevy. (JEG'S High Performance)

I guess what I am getting at is:

Will the pistons out of a 327 fit into a 350?
or
Will the camshaft of a 350 fit on a 327?

External parts are pretty much interchangable ( intake manifold, heads, exhaust, water pump ), although anything having to do with air/fuel in or exhaust out will work better or worse depending engine size, flow rates, etc. , but they will all fit. Internal is another matter. Pistons will not, different bore size. Crank I believe just off the top of my head is a different journal size, so won't. Cam will, but you should look at the cam specs to see if the cam swap wouldbe beneficial. Hope this helps.

327 had a large journal and small journal crank for certain year....(can't remember what those years are though)
