 Post subject: timing light

anybody know where i can find a basic timing light that works decent for a fair price? i dont really wanna spend 100 bucks for a new one...

one word, ebay, or if you have a harbor freight tools in your area, they are cheap.

Try not to go too cheap because some timing lights dont work well in the daylight. My advice is to go to Sears and get a Craftsman timing light (the one with out the adjustment dial) I've had mine for over 20 years and it still works like new.

Yes, I deserved that remark. I went out and got a job. They worked me to death(up to 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week). Im laid off but i dont care. Now i can go back to Texas and do some stuff to the truck. Got some money saved up and it's burning a hole in the floorboard. I did get a set of Hooker V-8 mounts and put together some drawings if anyone was interested in building a set. So in a way, i have made some contribution to the site during this time.
