What would you guys say a reasonable.charging voltage is? I was checking it before I fixed the wire and when it was.charging it was around 13.7-13.9v so a little low. After the new alt output wire and voltage sensing wire to the plug I checked it at 15.2v at the highest. Is that too high?

I think so. Without looking up specs I would THINK this could sulfate your battery.

Yeah that was my fear with it. I will have to check again and if it is that high I will have to move the voltage sensing wire from where I have it now. Some say to wire it way to the battery which in my truck is a good.distance away from my alt. Some say just wire it to the 12v+ of the alt which makes no sense. Right now for lack if a longer piece of.wire it is wired in with one of my relay wires. The thought being that it is seeing the same power the rest of the system is. Checking voltage at battery and at alt wl have to do it again I pretty much got to the okay its charging point and called it a day when I did it
