I would like to get my bumper re-chromed and want to make sure it's done right because I live near the coast and there is major fog and mist and rust sets in super quick... Can anyone recommend a good place to do this work?

Check with a body shop in your area, the body shop I use has a good one in the LA area.

I'll ask around town.

I had the bumpers for my el camino done by a place in LA called Big J's and they did a pretty shitty job. The rear bumper started rusting instantly and I can remember someone on the phone throwing a tantrum because they had to re-do it. The front bumper started rusting after about a year.

Thanks but that truck is no longer... It was way too rusted out so I pretty much parted it out and put the engine into my current LUV with almost no rust.

It looks like the truck came with the 4x4 decals/stripes and then someone kinda modified those lines.
