 Post subject: starting help

i have a problem. my truck has a starting panel in it instead of a key switch to start things off. ok, so when i push the button to start it it rolls over fine but when i push the power to coil switch it will grind the starter or even the fuel pump switch it dosnt make a diffeence wich one i push i will start to grind the starter. when i turn the power or fuel switch off itwill roll over fine again. any help with this issue will be great. thank you

Check all your grounds. Make sure you have a clean surface where they mount. (no rust or paint). Add a ground or three if you are not sure...
