hey guys,
Quick question: 1981 1.8l intake manifold. On the rear of the manifold is the water outlet for the heater. It's got a 90 degree bend toward the rear. Mine is rusted through. Is that part pressed into the manifold? I need to either fix mine or replace the manifold, which I hate to do. Thoughts?
Thanks

I'm not an expert on anything, but especially gas engines. But HOW does an intake manifold have a water outlet?

Yes, coolant flows through the intake manifold. I never had to mess with it, but I think that elbow might be pressed in. The elbow is not going to be available new. Probably just look for a good used manifold. Good luck.
Where are located?
