Hey guys,
The tranny in the car my parents let me drive went out. It blew a hole straight through the bell housing, so it's toast. I've been bumming rides off people all week to get to school and stuff, so I finally decided I need something else.
The past couple days I've been driving around with my folks looking at trucks, and we finally found "the one".
It's a 2002 Mazda B4000, with a 4.0L V6, 5-Speed automatic, 4x4, with 60,000 miles on it. The guy was an Air Force vet, so he didn't drive it much. My parents purchased it for $8500 cash, and I'll be making payments towards it to em for prolly 2-3 years.... But at least I got a good looking truck to drive now!!
So what do you guys think, '02 with 60,000 miles for $8500. Good deal?
Here's some pics I took just after I bought it in Colorado Springs.
Its got a grill guard with off road lights. There's an old foot-operated brights switch on the floor to turn them on, lol.
Came with the topper.
It's a four door with the reverse doors in the back.
It came with two 8" subs in the back, so it gets LOUD!!
Cruddy fold down back seats.....
It also came with 1000W amp, I'll never max that thing out...
lol
Came with a Pioneer head unit, but he gave me the stock one too.
It's got a K&N Cold Air Intake system.
It gives it a little bit more power and sounds meaner the guy told me. He gave me the stock intake also.
It's got some super meaty off road tires on it too. He paid something like $180 per tire?
Their a little noisy on the highway tho...
Came with a bed extender and an extra off-road tire to install on the spare. Woot!
Here's a pic of my parents Saturn that died. My sister was pissed.... It was supposed to be her car, lol. They're debating fixing it.
So, good deal? Too pricey? I think I might have gone a little over budget..... But I LOVE IT!!!!
Oh, sry about all the pics btw. I'm the type of guy who likes to see everything, lol.
