This car is just a bit larger than a Smart Car. I'm kind of interested in it. Could work pretty nice for my commute to work.

I need an electric car that will go 200 miles at interstate speeds. Until then, I gotta buy gas.

:signiagree A state trooper friend of mine got called to an accident scene involving a smart car and two large suv's.
The smart car was literally smushed into a ball of tin foil and the driver inside was FUBAR.
My Suburban may drink the gas but it can go head to head with most anything out there and I have really good chance of surviving the accident.

That's what I like about driving my F250 also. I get a little nervous in the LUVs. The size, or lack there of, is for sure a little nerving.

The car mags all like the Chevy Volt. They liked the thought that, if you run out of electricity, the gas engine is there to get you home.

I think I'm going to call BS on that picture.

Not to disagree with your point though...

I get what your saying about small versus big in a wreck, I feel the same way. My parents always had large cars and for the most part, so have I. But ANY thing in a head on collision against a big rig, (even a smaller type tractor like in this photo) is going to be VERY ugly.
Think about it. We all drive our LUVs around. They are small and made of cheap thin Jap steel from the '70's, and don't have crumple zones built in to them. In a LUV, we don't stand a chance. It's just the chance we take. And we all have different levels of how much chance we are willing to take.

Yeah, I wonder what the survival rate for Suburbans and F-250's head on with a semi?

I have noted the good sense of a few here looking to replace the seat belts in their LUV

Besides, small, fast moving objects are hard to hit.

When I was in accident investagation/re-creation school we called it the lug nut rule. Who ever has the most lug nuts usually wins.

If you're referring to Luvs, you're half right.

I need a little education on what constitutes poor photoshopping because, I must say, if it's photoshop, it looks pretty good to me.

The first clue is usually the shadows; Are they consistent? In this case, yes. In all aspects of both pictures, the light appears to be coming from slightly ahead of the right front fender of the truck.

The 2nd clue is often holes or reflections (or lack thereof). I don't see any holes despite the complex interaction of the truck and car. In picture 2, the truck is reflected in the rear quarter of the car.

In the second picture, the transition from the car to the background is a little sharp at the sky line, but that could be just the lighting.

So I gotta say, if it's photoshopped, I don't see it.

On a side note, that looks like a VW (maybe a golf). Imagine if it were a (not so) Smart car.

Side note #2, I bet the truck driver's pissed. They bent his grille!

Maybe it is my computer, but the front wheel placement on the rig doesn't look right, no shadows there, the lower pic has a sticker on the tractor about a brake, looks to me like a company logo, which doesn't match the one on the side door of the rig...
