im wanting to ditch the bench seat and go with some simple buckets. but id like to keep it in the 70s era and also keep it chevy. i want it to be a fairly low profile seat as the trucks future will have hydraulics and a v8 (not that that entails low profile seats), but i just want teh clean simple look.

so im taking suggestions on seats to look for that would be fairly easy to come by at random salvage yards.

72/78 240/280z seats fit look good but are not chevy but the first i thought of

if they were only low-back. i like the height of the bench seat and would like the buckets to be about that high.

would a nova/chevelle/camaro have lower bucket seats? i dont really know what the 70s look like .. i know early 80s + camaro would be about as high as the 240/280z seats ..

only earlier ones. Some later seats came with head rests that can be removed. Just push a button and they can be removed.
