I need some help I moved the gas tank back farther and have to extend the lines. Do I have to have the lines connected to that little box in the bed?

Those are vapor recovery lines, you dont have to smog that truck anymore so you dont have to hook them up. There are other componets to the system. It basically is a vent for the fuel tank and recovery system, if you do get rid of it you need to find a way to vent the tank, another line goes to the engine oil pan and another goes to the air cleaner. Its hard to tell you here how to elimanate the system and still have a safe vent for the tank, if you have a factory manual study the system and figure it out, if not call me and I will help you through it. PM me if you need my #.
