You could get the xtreme with a 4cyl (2.2 I think) or the 4.3 v6, nothing really xtreme at all about the truck, just ground effects is the only thing different than a regular S10.

however,

if you find a v6 5 speed extreme, they have a 8.5" rear.

its the same width as the regular S10 (54") but is in 8.5 and usually has disc breaks.

The thing to be careful of is that other Heavy Duty S10s had the same rear, but was usually 2"s wider. so measure twice before commiting!

the s-10 extremes also came with a lowering kit on it aside from the groundfx kit. but like earlier said there is nothing extreme or special about them other than the vortec v6 engines.

yea nothing xtreme about this s10s i have 2 a 2000 2.2 flex fuel xtreme and a 2001 4.3 xtreme and its just the ground effects and they come lower than a regular s10
