I've been looking at getting some new guages. I want/need a gauge that is easy to read, and lights up blue, like a VW. Besides autometer what do you feel will work?

also I need ones that are easy to swap, I am not mechanicaly inclined and was told to be aware that some gauges use oil lines or pressure lines? So far autometer cobalt gauges are the best I've found. Also I am not sure if I will go digi or analog.

The Dakota Digital gauges are nice. I do not like them much anymore. I thought they have been overdone. Most brands have color options. You want the electrical gauges that only have to be wired, they have no mechanical connections to make. Even the speedometer. I like VDO gauges, but most if not all brands should have what you want. Most of it is which gauges have the look you want. You might have to decide between metric or US settings.

Another note. Do you want to include your tach in the dash or do you want to have a external mount.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
