I have a 1995 Chrysler LHS, nice car, but reciently the thing was acting like it was vapor locking. It would stall out and would not start un till it cooled off. So I pulled the fuel filter, and it was full of rust! Did I pump this crap in my tank? I havent dropped the tank yet, that's tomorrows project. Any way anyone else had this problem. Mace

has it set up for a while? Water settles to the bottom of the tank and you can get rust there.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

OK heres the skinney, the gas tank is plastic, and I went to the liberary and found out that there is a access panel in the trunk. Took the fuel pump out in an hour siphoned the tank cleaned the rust out( I had to pump it in there at the maverick) bought a new pump fuel filter and pray that takes care of the problem.
