So I'm considering slapping a 4X4 LUV together for my son in Colorado Springs. What kind of smog laws/inspections happen over there? Can I run a Weber and header and etc.?

I dont think Colorado Springs does testing, just the Denver Metro area counties, Longmont and Boulder (I sure dont miss having to do that every other year). Here is the link to their website.

My buddy use to register his trucks at his grandfathers house up in the mountains so he wouldnt have to have them tested.

Im from the springs. As far as i know they did away with smog 3 years back when i was getting ready to move. Even when i did live there they didn't hassle me much about my truck. He pretty much looked for the smog pump and cleared it. He should be ok :D

Ok thanks guys. Yea it's the basket case on the side yard. I might do a fugly but reliable mode of transportation job on this one. My son and his wife want to buy a house and will need to sell his F350 for a down payment. The LUV is 4X4 so it would get him to and from work when the weather gets ugly.
