I am selling my 1988 VW Jetta GLi for $2000. It has the 16V DOHC with a 5spd trans, full disk (new pads all around last week), Recaro interior with a little custom work started, strobes in the headlights, Eagle Alloy 15" wheels with directional tires all around (hard to find lug nuts are 12mm hex head, need to get a chuck for them from Les Schwab, should be about three bux), runs fine and will smoke the tires if you want to. For $600 extra I will include my system in it. The car is bright red with dual white racing stripes and the original GLi spoiler, but they didn't do the best job and there is still a little finish paint to be done (between the doors there is still some primer as they just did the base coat to see how it looked and hadn't finished it when I bought it). Today I am going to buy some not really needed parts, but rather be safe than stranded (front brake lines and caliper mounting bolts due to the fact that I wasn't able to find an hex wrench that would fit, metric or standard). The stereo is currently a pioneer deck (am/fm/cd) blapunkt 5x7s, jensen tweets, dual sony xplode 12" 900w each in dual subzero bandpass, sony xplode 800w amplifier. The wiring was done by me so be assured it was done right as I seem to have a natural thing for installing them :D .... The dash is cracked, but I have an extra out of one of my other Jettas and will include a plethera of parts including seats, ac parts, a lot of accent pieces and other stuff with it. Feel free to email or IM me. Note: I post this here because all the $$$$ is going to go into my '78 LUV which will soon be reborn and buffed up. Oh yeah, it had exhaust work done, the pipes were enlarged and a stainless muffler with a chrome tip was put on (done at a local muffler shop, so it is welded together NOT BOLTED, this means not pipe rattle).

Good idea. I sold my Trans Am to make room in the garage for my Luv. Gave the procedes to the wife for bills. It was the only way she would agree to buy the Luv before I sold the car. Just collecting money as it comes and building as I can.
