I have about a 20 year old Larin 2 1/2 ton (I think) floor jack that needs a new jack.
Anybody know where to get replacement jacks for floor jacks?

thats a good ?
i have a craftsman 2 1/2 ton floor jack, did you know that their jacks don't come with a warrantee like all the other tools nope jacks only have a 1 yr warrantee.
and then i asked if they had a rebuild kit i could buy they said, we dont have one for sale but we can rebuild it for you at a astronomical price.
well anyway if anyone knows where to get a seal kit or rebuild kit for this let me know please. it still works just leaks out all the hyd fluid if it sits for a while

Most any hydraulic cylinder repair shop should be willing to do this, or provide you with the parts...

When my floor jack started leaking fluid, I took it apart and took the O-Rings down to Schucks parts house. They had a big selection of o-rings. Fixed my jack for about 2 dollars. :)

Yep, was gonna say about 95% of the time on hydraulic jacks is an o ring problem.

Yep...I did the same on both of mine. The guy at Schucks tried to tell me that I needed special oil-resistant o-rings and that theirs wouldn't last very long..so I bought 6 of them a long time ago.

2 of them are still left waiting in my tool box's drawer...lol
