My dad just bought one, but doesn't know how to pop the hood. Anyone know?

There should be a release cable on the drivers side kick panel. How did he open it to inspect the engine before he bought it?

i used to have a 86 any way pop the hood then on each corner of the hood is a latch by the windshield , push in to lift ... opens like the luv... OH and if i remember right there is a release on the passenger side also like on the driver side (2 in car releases)
