Anyone know where I can get some large thin flat sheets of chrome or polished stainless cheap? I wanna use them to cover the sides of my stepside bed to add some more chrome to my truck.

I might also use what's left over to make some covers for the back corners of my cab to cover the seams where the back of the cab corners are joined to the back of the cab too, to give it a more finished and cleaner look.

I looked at some stuff that restaurants and "roach coaches" use but they are all diamond plate and in big diamond or square patterned stuff.

What about trim from something else? I know my '85 Custom Cruiser has some bits that could be made to work. There is a chrome kick panel that runs between the front and rear wheels, and also a 1/2" wide chrome strip that runs the whole length of the car. I'd guess just the rear quater spear would work for the bed rail. There is also all sorts of trim up on ebay...

Where are you on this? In this case, more is better :)

I haven't done too much searching lately. I've been a bit too busy with work, plus the wifey's had me doing some alterations and repairs on my house.

I guess I better get my butt in gear and get to it soon...lol

Any major supplier of dirt track race parts should have chrome aluminum sheets, but it is going to be aluminum and will be very easy to put a ding in. :D
