When I tried to start my truck yesterday it wouldnt even turn over. Put the charger on it for a few hours and still nothing. Tried to jump start it, still nothing. Could the battery be so dead that it wouldnt even jump start?

Yes. It can die with no warning at all. How old is the battery? Did you clean the battery terminals? Do you have a good ground to the battery? Have you taken a voltage reading? Do your headlights work? Maybe the starter solenoid failed. It could be a number of things that would indicate a dead battery. If the battery failed, you should go thru the cables and check the system over to correct any condition that led to the failure.

Did you check the baterry water level? Also it could be the starter or the alternator.

How old is the battery? What is the resting voltage? When was the last time you started the truck, if a battery sits below a certain voltage ( Usually 10 volts ) it will lose it's " Memory " it will than only take so much of a charge and will not maintain the needed 12.6 Volts.

We need more info to help you better.

Judging by the original post date.. I'd say the battery is AT LEAST THREE YEARS OLD...

BigHappy could have replaced the battery and have it go bad by now.
