Just curious, I recently come across 2 010 sbc blocks. Are they hard to find everywhere else as they are here in Mo.

the only block that is hard to find that i know of is the 509 casting sbc 400.

Hmmmm, wonder why. Everyone around here says they are hard to find.
I have a 509 400 in my s-10 now. Been offerd 500 for the block. They are getting hard to find.

the 509 casting is the best factory casting ,for years everybody was afraid of the 400's because of the cylinders and they were abundant back then,but now that everybody knows the true potental and large displacements they can be made too so they are really hard to find.heck i have one thats had every cylinder resleeved and i'm hanging on to it.
