Been busy for a little while. I hope to get back here some now that race season has started.. Less to do now that the cars are together. Mostly run and if something breaks, well them. I will be busy then.

No Picture of our 73 Camaro Mod(foot brake) Car Till this weekend.
No Picture of our 67 Nova PM Car. I am not sure it they will run the Nova this year or not.

Almost had to beat up TransKing to get another convertor after theirs whent by-by before the season offically started. Used a spare from Oscar, till they made a deal for a new one. Front seal in the tranny on the TAD went bad at a later race. We made a diaper out of fiberglass to hold the fluid from leaking on the track each of the quarter and simi finals... Split the winnings and didn't run last race.

The Z28 did the money split, at the next day race after that..

Z28 driven by Joey Campise

67 Nova With Wayne Campise Driver cut a 500 light last year at Sealy

73 Camaro with Brad Campise cut a 501 at Temple this year.
Brad will not be driving now due to medical problems.

67 Nova will be driven by Paul Campise this year if it he has time run it.

73 Camaro will be driven by my son Nathan, Oscar Campise, or Me..
We will decide this weekend at the races at Temple Raceway (Little River by us old guys)

Oscar is my best friend from High School, he owns both Camaros.
Joey and Brad are his sons.

Paul owns the Nova, Oscars brother
TAD is owned by Wayne, Pauls son, which may take up his time

Me I wrench and crew for all the cars. The others do too.

Nova and TAD run engines by Ed Morrow. of 4 world record holdings of the Morrow, Culper, & Campise's 63 Corvette. Long since broken.
Ed is retired and that's all he does now.

Both Camaros run engines by Reher-Morrison.

All Cars are Big Block Chevys.

Luv realted: My water pump went out on mine. I' ll change it next week.

PS: I am working on a deal for a Luv race truck. Aerospace brakes, 4 link, chrome molly full cage.. Built for a SBC No engine, tranny, or rearend. Needs the bed sides put back on, and driver bar fabed yet... Lets see. My 350 and 350 tranny from My Luv. the Camaro or 9" I could run Mod (foot brake) in it.. It would be way too late for points.. Maybe our old 350 crate engine we had in a truck that we sold back to Brad that was used in the 73 while getting a BBC for it the next year... It is just sittihg in the shop.. I can't afford $25k engines

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Dragster motor sold, some wanted it bad enough.

Someone looking at buying silver camaro, but doesn't want the BBC.
ZZ4 engine we have around the shop will be going into the car. BBC coming out.

Red Z28 may be going up for at the sale at the end of the year. Comp car is in the works. Pontiac Grand Am.
