I just got an 88 s10 for a v 8 swap. anyone know any helpful tips as far as what headers besides s10 headers might fit? If I need stronger springs in the front for the 4 banger swap out. I know you can stay stock with the 2.8. what would be a good vehicle to find the power stering pump from for the conversion? The rest should be easy besides geting 2.8 motor mounts kit and radiator. Thanks

I don't know of any headers that will fit besides the ones for an S-10. I will send you a pm.

the s10 v8 conversion parts store.com as all the kits I dont like the shortie headers, plan on building my own.If the truck is going to be a streeter put good stuff springs etc in it for 1/8 mile drag the stock springs are ok.
I land speed race mine 1 mile , springs are ok, but I need to lose about 200lbs off the front and add 50 to the rear to have 51% front .
