i'm trying to identify this thing i found......looks like a tool kit that mounts on a frame bar or something.

i need to know what it is and round about when it was made. some opinions are that it's either ww1 or ww2 era, but i can't be sure.

You might try asking around at a local Harley dealer or independent chopper shop, something like that.

its definitely whats referred to as a "tool bag" or "fork bag" if you look at any of the cruiser accessories sites and type those terms in the search it will bring up something similar to that. I have 2 "tool bags" on my bike. as far as when that was actually made, good luck on that. you will have to find a vintage Indian officianado to tell you about that. The new Indian bikes are a far cry from the old Indian bikes. my guess would also be approximately 1930's era too.
