Turbo's came on the 301's as a option. In 79 to get a 400 you had to get teh anniversy pack... 4 speed, 400, hurst shifter, 4 wheel disc brakes.... no turbo was availbile

You actually have an awesome set of wheels there dude. They look old style today, but if you'll notice they are aerodynamically correct. You can right now go out in the highway and drive that car at 100 m.p.h all day long. That is assuming everything is in good working order. Except for a few styling changes those cars are much like the Camaros and Firebirds of today. They are low to the ground, they have ground effects and a spoiler, and in my opinion they are built stronger. Plus if someone spends some time on one they are a real head turner. You are starting off with 400 cubic inches. You wont find a Camaro, Firebird, or Vette with that, and all the new technology is available as you know to get that car to scream if that's what you want to do. Just stock and running good they are still a car that is to be respected. Is it the end all savior of the world? I don't think so. Can it still be a bad ass car? Uh huh Uh huh
