Im seriously concidering building a kit car 32. I was almost sold on building a "T" bucket but from what i've read on the internet, they're not very comfortable. Especially if you're a big person.
The 383 im putting together needs to go into something so the idea of building something brand new rather than reworking an old car seems like a good idea. A T bucket can be built for under 10 grand. A 32 can be had for under 15. There's a company in Ft. Worth that builds 32 bodies and they have a good line on a rolling chassis. I'd save a few hundered on shipping if i pick it up myself.
Has anyone had their hands in a 32 kit build? Do they ride smooth?
I'd like to build something that was brand new for once but if anyone has some stories i need to hear, let me know.

Ratnluv just sent some pictures in of his that he put on the luv frame with his big block.

I saw it last year. He had a company fit the body to the Luv frame.

I have a few friends that have built 29's 32's 34's 37's etc. they were all high $$$ TCI chassis though. they were either I beam dropped straight axle on leafs or 4 bar OR Mustang II front suspension and a 9" 4 bar in the back. one was even a stang II front and a Jag IFS rear. just keep in mind, you get what you pay for on those kits. you get a 15K kit you probably wont be standing on the running boards or anything. all steel original body is really the way to go if you can find one that isnt full of a 1000# of lead. fiberglass repro kits, look like fiberglass repro kits to the hardcore street rodder enthusiast. just my .02.

btw yeah T buckets are very uncomfortable. I used to have one and the shifter was between my legs. wheel is almost flat, and driving it is like spinning the Tea Cups at Disneyland if you know what I mean. They are pretty unsafe too. you take one hit broadside or rear end and you are hurtin for certain. the only way i convinced myself to ever drive that thing was that I ride motorcycles too and the danger is about the same.

yeah you can almost put together a t-bucket for about 5grand depending on the motor and running gear i have a book that has all the templates and stuff to build if you know how to weld it saves money
you can check it out at the local library i m sure maybe there is one on the 32?
