should my 89 larrit ext cab be struggleing to make it up to 90 @ 2,800 rpm's?
it has a 5.0 has 129,000 and recently rebuilt the top end, sence I've only put on 4,000

That era of Fords were definetly not known for their speed capabilty's. However, since it has a next to new top end, you would think she would run like a new engine. I dunno, Im saying it should be able too... :?

fuel delivery problem... clogged injectors maybe?

Ummmm, yea sounds like a fuel injector problem, might want to try a fuel injector cleaner like STP or Outlaw, my parents 1992 Explorer doesn't have a problem making it up to 90, course it's running at about 3000rpm or so, may be a little lower, w/ a 4.0L V6
